iPhone and iPad

ZZPass on iPhone and iPad.

Everything you need to get going: your account, AutoFill, your other devices, and where things live in the app.

The ZZPass password list on iPhone

Get started in three steps

ZZPass runs on iOS and iPadOS 17 or later, and syncs through your own iCloud.

  1. Create your account

Enter your email and choose a primary password. It's the one password you remember, so make it long: a few random words work well. Nobody at ZZPass can see or reset it.

  2. Print your Emergency Kit

ZZPass offers it as you sign up. It holds your Secret Key and a QR code for signing in on a new device. Keep it somewhere safe. About the kit

  3. Turn on AutoFill

In the Settings app, go to General → AutoFill & Passwords and choose ZZPass. AutoFill guide

Everyday tasks

Add a login

On Passwords, tap +. Enter the website, username and password, or make a strong one with the generator.

Add a 2FA code

Open the login, tap Edit and set up a verification code: scan the site's QR code or paste its setup key. 2FA guide

Check your passwords

Security → Health shows which passwords are weak or used on more than one site.

Move in from another app

Security → ⋯ → Import, then pick the export file. Import guide

Export or back up

Security → ⋯ → Export to a CSV or 1PUX file, or on iOS 26 or later straight into another app. It asks for your primary password first.

Print an Emergency Kit

Security → Emergency Kit. Your account details are free; a kit with every password and note is Premium.

Add another device

Install ZZPass on the new iPhone, iPad or Mac and choose Log In.

  1. On your iPhone, open Security → Devices. It shows a QR code for your account.
  2. On the new device, tap Scan QR Code and scan it, or type your email and Secret Key. Both are in your Emergency Kit too.
  3. Enter your primary password. Your vault comes down from your iCloud, so the first sign-in needs the internet.

To sign a device out, open Security → Devices, tap it and choose Log out.

If something isn't right

My passwords aren't syncing to my other devices.
Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on each device, and check you're online. If ZZPass shows an iCloud warning in Settings, tap it and follow the steps.
AutoFill doesn't suggest ZZPass.
Turn it on in Settings → General → AutoFill & Passwords. More AutoFill fixes
I forgot my primary password.
On a device you're still signed in on, type a password on the lock screen. After one wrong try, tap Recover Account? and use Face ID or Touch ID to set a new one. Your printed Emergency Kit also has your primary password on it. Account recovery
How do I change my primary password?
Go to Settings → Account → Change Primary Password.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. It's the same app, with the same vault, on iPad with iPadOS 17 or later.
How do I reach support?
