When 1Password is enough.

It's a good app. Stay with it if this is you.

You use Windows, Android or Linux

1Password runs on nearly everything. ZZPass is for iPhone, iPad and Mac.

It comes with your work

A company plan can include a free 1Password Families membership. Keep that one.

You want Watchtower alerts

1Password warns about weak and compromised passwords. ZZPass flags weak and reused ones.

You live in a browser extension

1Password fills in on desktop browsers everywhere. ZZPass fills in Safari and apps on a Mac.

Move over in a minute. Or run both.

Export a copy from 1Password and try ZZPass without giving anything up.

  1. Get ZZPass

Download it free and set up your vault. It syncs through your own iCloud.

  2. Bring your passwords

In 1Password on iPhone, open Settings → Advanced, tap Start Export and pick ZZPass. Passkeys come too. On a Mac or PC, export a 1PUX file to bring cards, IDs and attachments as well.

  3. Turn on AutoFill

In Settings, choose ZZPass for AutoFill. Your logins fill in across Safari, your browsers and your apps.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Can I keep using 1Password too?
Yes. Export a copy into ZZPass and leave 1Password as it is while you decide. Once you're happy, remove your data from 1Password and delete the export file.
What comes across from 1Password?
On iPhone, use Start Export in 1Password's Advanced settings and pick ZZPass, and your logins, 2FA codes and passkeys move straight across with no file. On a Mac or PC, export a 1PUX file, which also carries your cards, notes, IDs, documents and attachments.
What stays behind?
Archived and deleted items. And if you sign in to 1Password with your company's single sign-on, 1Password doesn't allow exports.
Where does my vault live?
ZZPass syncs through your own iCloud, and encrypts your vault on your device with a key made from your primary password. Nobody at ZZPass can read it, and nobody can reset the password and get in.
What does Premium add?
Emergency Access, unlimited shared groups and attachments, and a printed Emergency Kit with all your passwords and notes. It's $2.99 a month or $29.99 a year, and one subscription covers up to six people through Family Sharing.
