What families usually ask.

What happens if I remove someone from a shared group?
They lose access to the group. Its encryption key changes automatically and everything is re-encrypted, so they can't read anything added or changed after that. Anything they already saw, or copied into their own vault, stays with them, so change any password that matters.
Can shared members edit passwords?
By default, yes: everyone joins with Read & Write access, and their changes sync to every member through iCloud. The group's owner can switch anyone to Read Only at any time, so they can see and use the items but not change them.
Does every family member need a ZZPass account?
Yes. Each person needs their own ZZPass account with their own primary password, on a device signed in to their own iCloud. That's what makes end-to-end encryption work. Everyone has their own encryption keys, so no one (not even us) can read someone else's vault.
Is there a limit to how many people can be in a group?
Up to 5 people on the free plan, and up to 25 per group with Premium. A couple, a family of five or three generations under one roof all fit.
What are TimeCapsules?
Sealed notes that open on a date you choose, or after a while without activity from you. Write to your future self, plan a birthday message years ahead, or leave instructions for your family, with photos or files if you like.
What platforms does ZZPass support?
iPhone, iPad and Mac, with native apps for each.
Is family sharing free or premium?
Sharing is available to everyone. A free account can start one shared group, with up to 5 people and 10 items, as long as it isn't already in one. Joining groups you're invited to is never limited. Premium removes those limits, with up to 25 people in each group, and with Family Sharing one subscription covers up to six people in your family.
