The ZZPass Emergency Kit ready to print on iPhone

The day you'll be glad you printed.

A sheet of paper in a drawer does nothing, right up until it's the only thing that works.

Your phone is gone

Set up ZZPass on a new device, scan the QR code on the kit, and you're back in. No typing, no support ticket.

You forgot your password

The kit has your primary password on it, so a long holiday or a blank moment can't lock you out.

Your family needs in

With the full kit, the people you trust can find the bank, the insurance and the email without guessing.

Two kits. Print the one you need.

Both carry the QR code and the date they were printed.

Keeping it safe

Treat it like cash.

Paper can't be hacked from the other side of the world. It can be picked up, so the kit is made to be kept somewhere locked.

  • Only you can print itYour primary password is checked before every print. Face ID alone won't do.
  • Never uploadedThe kit is made on your device and goes straight to your printer, not to us.
  • Always know the newest copyEvery kit shows when it was printed. Reprint, then shred the old one.
  • Somewhere lockedA home safe, a bank box or a locked drawer. Or a PDF on an encrypted USB drive.

Questions about printing.

Is my primary password on the printout?
Yes, on purpose. The kit is your way back in when memory and devices fail, so keep it where you'd keep a passport.
Can someone print my vault without my password?
No. ZZPass asks for your primary password before every print. Face ID alone isn't enough.
Does printing send my data anywhere?
No. The kit is made on your device and goes straight to your printer. Nothing is uploaded to ZZPass.
Can I save it as a PDF instead?
Yes. Save it from the print screen and keep the file on an encrypted USB drive, somewhere other than your computer.
How often should I reprint?
When you add important accounts, or every few months. Each kit is date-stamped, so you know which copy to shred.
Is printing free?
Yes. Every account can print the Account Emergency Kit. The full kit with all your passwords and notes is part of Premium ($2.99 a month or $29.99 a year).
Can I print passwords from another password manager?
Bring them into ZZPass first, from Apple Passwords, 1Password, Bitwarden, Chrome and others, then print. It takes a few minutes. How switching works

Print it once. Sleep better.
